I fixed the golf cart. Still didn’t work when I put new motor brushes in, so I went and removed the ECU, then the solenoid, countless hours of research, then removed the forward / reverse selector. It was dirty and lots of copper dust and I wasn’t getting much continuity on the copper studs. Cleaned it up tightened the copper studs and got it working again!

Wow, those brushes were pretty gone, you accidentally found the perfect time to replace them.
